At least another day

End of day

At least another day

Crawled out of the swag this morning

A thick frost covered all the grass for miles

Out here where the channel country rolls

Look down, catch a touch of blue sky tint

Inside a long trough’s cold still water

Nothing like breaking ice at a day’s dull start

A little brisk, natural chilled water on ones face

Who needs aftershave, when on days like these

It’s a case of break camp before the Sun does

Time to move on, further into those vanishing

Sandhills on the distant horizon, at least for today.
