Darkness strings a silent song, on a little longer

Darkness strings a silent song, on a little longer

Falling asleep deep beneath a spring eclipse

In an empty long house where columns stand

Separate amongst three narrow empty isles

Darkness strings a silent song, on a little longer

A gradual glow begins to grow as it leaves behind

Charcoal chaff and wild field stubble painted dark

Evening’s midnight distant glow where firestorms

Passed by here now, but two long short hours ago.
