Awaiting giants

Awaiting giants

Climbing out from a bed roll
Beneath a fresh morning storm
Sometime before the first light to day
Breaking in a cool Autumn’s season.

March weather’s last tropical rivalry
Between warm gulf waters, out
Against an estranged north coral sea
Giants in a torrid struggle, weight to clash.

Shelter in time beneath an overhang
A last wait, final hours not long now.

    • They’re just a little unpredictable at times, companions to weather and wind, stick a narrow strip of land between them, they’ll tussle over it. Thanks for reading, Robin, all appreciated.
