Traffic Lights and Custard Apples

Traffic Lights and Custard Apples

What more, what to say

Figs and dates

City spaces, wasted time

Wild raspberries, and mulberry silk

Long hair, torrid mountain climbs

T-shirt grapes, and hats of plums

Give me city lights, country forest stars

Those custard apples, and traffic lights

  1. I love this phrase: ‘Long hair, torrid mountain climbs

T-shirt grapes, and hats of plums.’ It’s a nice tidy poem. Great job my friend!

    • I was stuck in a moment of writing the jester, and the silly moment one ponders when not wanting to exceed anything more than happy and fun. Thanks, Sandra 🙂
